Hi! I’m Birsen.

I find sketching tangles to be relaxing – it focuses the mind. And when I’m not sketching, you can usually find me in my garden.

I was born in Turkey and once considered Izmir my home. I came to the US in 1989 and became a citizen in 2002. A geophysicist by education, I now teach statistics at a local university. I live in a small Idaho town in Hardiness Zone 7a (0°F to 5°F).

Hi! I’m “Significant Other“ … Birsen’s husband. Birsen enjoys her work but does not enjoy working on web pages and blogs. So my role in this is to take her work and words and present them to y’all in her place.
