Time for more “Vines” than “Tangles” I’ve been preparing for the set-up of the greenhouse. Nothing yet worthy of more pictures – unless a post-hole or two is of interest. My paid job ends in a week; progress will improve. Meanwhile, while moving debris, look what I found! Picked a bunch; saved a few. Spread…
Hard to believe it’s the end of June already. Wasn’t it just the end of March? getting the garden ready; starting seedlings? Now here I am weeding and harvesting already. But it gets hot in the afternoon, so I take breaks from the garden and get down to tangling.
Ah, yes. The garden. Got the greenhouse beds laid out and put the fence in. Got by with a little help from a friend. Maybe … just maybe … it’ll keep the deer out Goatsheads are all over. Better to pick them out now rather than wait until they mature come later this summer.
All work and no play … Gardening now pretty much consists of the 2Ws: weeding and watering. Crops are coming along; some of the earlier harvest is underway … the peas are tasty! But, it’s hot in the afternoon so I retreat to a shady place with a cool drink … and start to tangle….
And it’s time for the lilies to bloom
