It Must Be Spring

Work on the garden continues – it’s that time of year … but progress at this point is not something worth a photograph. Preparations are being made for putting the hoop greenhouse up … but it’s not time yet. Meanwhile, these tulips had escaped their bed and were sacrificed for placement in the kitchen.

Several planter boxes were used in last summer’s garden. After harvesting, the greens were left in place and covered with plastic sheeting to make it through the winter as best they could. Seems they survived … although this past winter was not all that severe. About ½ the main bed was given the hoop/plastic treatment….
